October 12 – 13, 2019: Welding 102

For the student who already knows how to use a MIG welder, or has taken our 101 level class and is ready for the next step. In our 101 class, students make welding carts. In the 102 class, you will make a layout welding/cutting table. This table features a 2′ x 3′ plate for fabrication of your projects, plus a 1′ x 2′ cutting area for torch or plasma work. This table has castors for moving around easily and can be customized by adding hooks, shelving, or tool racks/rests that suit your needs.

Pre-requisite: A working knowledge of how to MIG weld or having participated in our level 101 basic welding class.

Class runs Saturday and Sunday 9AM till 4PM.

As in our basic class, you can take just the instruction to build the project, or you can buy that plus a full welding kit which includes a Lincoln 180 Pro mig welder, a 40 cu ft Argon/CO2 gas bottle, an auto darkening helmet, a pair of welding globes, welder’s pliers, and an extra 2 lb spool of welding wire.
