November 23-24, 2019: Blacksmithing: Nails, Hinges, Hasps and Handles

This course is designed with the custom wood worker in mind who wishes to make their own iron hardware for their wood projects. Also suitable for beginner and amateur smiths wishing to learn the techniques for these type of projects.

This course is suitable for the ambitious -or the experienced beginner. We do not recommend this course to young smiths (10 yr) unless that smith is ready for some serious technical work!

Class includes safe shop practices, fire management, efficient hammer techniques and basic forging.  All safety equipment and materials provided.
