Master Class Series, Yellin Challenge
$650

The Yellin Challenge is our first Master Class Series offering. Guest instructor is Fred Crist. The project is a grille designed by Fred based on a “sketch in iron” created by Samuel Yellin. Each panel of the grill will be forged from a single piece of material. Students will make two of each element: one to keep and the other to be added to the class grille work. Claire Yellin, granddaughter of Samuel Yellin, will join us for one day during the class to present a slide show of Yellin’s work and history.
